Synergy Pharmaceuticals Raises $7.09 Million in Common Stock Financing
Synergy’s drug development program and patent estate are based on a class of synthetic peptides designed to mimic uroguanylin, a human hormone that regulates intestinal fluid transport.
Synergy has a lead drug, SP-304, in clinical development, to treat chronic constipation (CC) and constipation-predominant irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-C). A second drug, SP-333, is in pre-clinical development for GI diseases.
